Brian attended the University of Kentucky as a catcher and then finished his playing career at Alice Lloyd College. This will be Rich's 4th year with the organization.īrian is the Varsity Head Baseball Coach at North Broward Preparatory School as well as the Middle School Athletic Director. He was the head coach of the Mavericks for one of the most prolific runs in Florida high school baseball winning 7 state championships in 8 years at Archbishop McCarthy. Throughout his time, he has won 9 State Championships spanning between 2 schools and 20 years. In 2011, Bielski was named National Baseball Coach of the Year by USA Today after leading the team to a 29-3 mark. Rich has one of the richest histories around the nation as a high school coach in South Florida. This will be Dan's 2nd full year with the organization. Dan had coached at Coral Springs Charter, University School, and Nova Southeastern University. Dan has earned Coach of the Year Awards in 2013 from the Miami Hearald and Sun Sentinel during his time leading University School. During his playing career, Dan was with Broward College and Lynn University where he received his degree in Sports Management. This will be Felipe's 8th year with the organization.ĭan is currently a Scout for the Seattle Mariners and also roves as a Minor League hitting coach in the Mariners Organization. Felipe has his Master's Degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology and handles the pitching coordination. Throughout his coaching career, Felipe has been with American Heritage, St Thomas Aquinas, USA Baseball, Broward College, Nova Southeastern University, Florida International University, and the Los Angeles Angels Organization as the rookie level Pitching Coach. After playing 4 years in professional baseball, Felipe started his coaching career with American Heritage. Felipe played collegiate baseball at Brevard College and Nova Southeastern University before signing professionally with the Los Angeles Angels. This will be Brandon's 8th year with the X Team and his 6th running the organization.įelipe was an original founder of X Team Baseball when it was started in 2003 with now University of Miami Coach Norberto Lopez. After playing 6 years in professional baseball, Brandon accepted a position at North Broward Prep to become the pitching coach where he currently coaches during the school year. Brandon played collegiate baseball at Broward College and Florida Atlantic University before signing professionally with the Baltimore Orioles. Brandon was one of the original members of the X Team in 2003 when the team was started by his current partner Felipe Suarez and Norberto Lopez.
